FCC Announces the Next Meeting of the BDAC

This Public Notice serves as notice that, consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act,1 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) announces the next meeting of the Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee (BDAC). The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., in the Commission Meeting Room at FCC Headquarters, located at 445 12th Street, SW, Room TW-C305, Washington, DC 20554.

At this meeting, the BDAC will consider reports and recommendations from its working groups, including the Model Code for Municipalities working group and the Model Code for States working group. In addition, the BDAC will continue its discussions on how to accelerate the deployment of broadband by reducing and/or removing regulatory barriers to infrastructure investment. This agenda may be modified at the discretion of the BDAC Chair and the Designated Federal Officer (DFO).

The BDAC meeting will be open to the public. The FCC will accommodate as many attendees as possible; however, admittance will be limited to seating availability. The FCC will also provide audio and/or video coverage of the meeting at Open captioning will be provided for this event. Other reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are available upon request. Such requests should include a detailed description of the accommodation needed.
